Green Career Pathways Grant Research

The Green Career Pathways Grant was officially named "Building the Education, Career Pathways and Labor Exchange Infrastructure within the New Business Paradigm of a Green Economy." It was one of two grants that the Ohio Department of Job and Family Services received from the U.S. Department of Labor and ran through May 2011. Partners included the Ohio Job and Family Services, Governor's Workforce Policy Advisory Board, Ohio Board of Regents and the University System of Ohio.

Driving Change - Greening the Automotive Workforce

The Auto Industry Grant, Driving Change, was officially named "Understanding the Impact of the Auto Industry Transformation in Michigan, Indiana, and Ohio: Identifying New Green Career Pathways for Impacted Workers." It was one of two grants that the Ohio Department of Job and Family Services received from the U.S. Department of Labor and ran through May 2011. Ohio shared a grant with Indiana and Michigan to coordinate efforts to help dislocated auto industry workers pursue new career paths in Green industries.
