This website includes county employment and unemployment data, jobs posting trends and individual county analyses. County Job Trends Report - Monthly report of online job postings by county, beginning March 2020. Show the number of job ads, new ads, and percentage change for the following:

  • Top occupations
  • Breakdown by industry

County Economic Profile Report - Snapshot view of annual or quarterly trends/data at the county level. Most information is for calendar year 2020 and can be used as a baseline against other, more recent, data. The following data are included in the reports:

  • Employment percent by industry
  • Employment trends
  • Online job postings
  • Industry turnover rates
  • High school enrollment (12th grade only)
  • Local area talent
  • Educational attainment
  • Veteran employment
  • Civilian labor force and commuting patterns
  • Area population-to-jobs ratio
  • Profile of unemployment insurance claims

County Industry Employment and Claimant Trends Report - This county industry report includes the annual number of establishments and employment, as well as a trend analysis of the number of unemployment insurance claimants during various time periods before and after Ohio's "stay-at-home" order. This provides information on the flow of U.I. claimants at the NAICS 3-digit level, which can be used to assess employment recovery.
