Occupational Employment and Wage Statistics (OEWS) Data Search
How to find Wage Rates by Occupation with the data search tool:
- Filtering from left to right, select Area Type AND Area.
- To narrow search results, select SOC Code or Occupation.
- Select Wage Type (Hourly or Salary).
- Click the "X" located to the right of the column header dropdowns to clear the filters.
To download the data to an Excel file:
- Click the rectangular (with a downward-pointing arrow) dropdown at the top or bottom right of the results window and select “Crosstab”.
- Select IOWage
- Select Excel or CSV and then Download.
